Workshop: We visited a sweet shop and experienced matcha and yakimochi. In this workshop, participants worked directly under the guidance of a craftsman and learned the unique aesthetics of Kyoto.

Sewing factory tour: We toured the sewing factory's original hakama uniforms and kimono products production site. We were able to hear directly from the craftsmen about the stories and design concepts behind each product.

Cultural Experience: Visit to Kyoto's historic district to experience local food and architecture, deepening our understanding of how product design is connected to local culture.

We also visited the office of the Design Week Kyoto Executive Committee, a general incorporated association, and had a discussion with Executive Committee Chairman Kitabayashi, during which we were able to explore new approaches to expanding the possibilities of the open factory and conveying its appeal to more people.
