Visit to the Open Factory in Paris

23/12/1

CENTQUATRE-PARIS (104PARIS) is a public cultural facility located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, and is an art center for various art forms. The facility offers a wide range of cultural activities, including artist residency programs, exhibitions, performances, and workshops. It also functions as an incubator for innovative start-up companies, promoting the integration of art and business.

The general public is free to visit and enjoy art, and there are also shops and cafes on site. Numerous workshops and events are held where people of all ages can experience art, making it a place for cultural exchange.

With its unique concept and diverse programs, CENTQUATRE-PARIS plays an important role in the Parisian cultural scene. Aiming to revitalize art and the community, it is one of the cultural facilities that has attracted attention both domestically and internationally.

During this visit, in addition to touring CENTQUATRE-PARIS facilities and exhibitions and experiencing workshops, the students also had the opportunity to meet Marialya, a CENTQUATRE-PARIS staff member, and learn how creative projects are realized and how art contributes to the local economy through interactions with local entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Participants' impressions

I was impressed by the energy and creativity brought about by the collaboration between art and entrepreneurs in Paris. In particular, the way participants from diverse backgrounds worked together on creative projects was full of new discoveries and inspiration.
