Event Overview

This workshop focused on Asian culture, with the aim of participants learning about and deepening their understanding of the cultures and traditions of Asian countries. Presentations were given on selected themes from Asian countries, which are home to a diverse range of cultures, providing participants with a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of different cultures.

 

Main Programs

Introduction to Taiwanese culture

There was an in-depth presentation on the fusion of traditional and modern culture in Taiwan, with a particular focus on local festivals and food culture.

Introduction to Korean culture

There were sessions learning about traditional Korean dress and music, as well as the influence of modern Korea on global culture.

Discussion about seasonal events in Japan

There was a discussion about cultural events and celebrations specific to each season in Japan, deepening understanding through comparisons with participants from other countries.

Participant responses

Participants praised the program, saying it was "extremely stimulating to be able to come into contact with the diverse cultures of Asia."

Many participants commented that they learned more about the cultures of Taiwan and Korea and gained new knowledge.

Future outlook

EmPath will continue to hold regular intercultural workshops to provide opportunities for people from all over the world to learn more about each other's cultures, and our next event will also delve deeper into different regional cultures.
